About this Program
This program is designed for students whose native language is not English and is divided into three levels. Students are placed in the appropriate level of program depending upon assessment of previous training, High School records and College transcripts.

Objectives
The basic objective of the ESL programs is to prepare the non-English or limited English proficient students with effective communication skills in English language as used in the United States for academic, personal and professional purposes. Upon successful completion of all levels of the ESL Program, students are then eligible to enroll into any of the degree programs offered at American Heritage University of Southern California.
