Tribal Law Seminars

On Saturday, November 19th, American Heritage School of Law, (AHUSOL) in conjunction with the Department of Indian Tribal Law, hosted seminars on Indian Tribal Law: Multi-Jurisdictional Issues and The CSI Effect and the Legal Community.

The CSI Effect and the Legal Community

Introductions were given by Dr. Jay Deb, Vice President of Academic Affairs & Compliance Officer; Philip Drucker, Dean of the School of Law; and Shellisa Stephens, Registrar & Secretary to the Senate. The Hon. Benjamin Zvenia then mesmerized the audience with presentations on the aforementioned topics and a video on Tribal Indian Law.

Indian Tribal Law is fast-moving, constantly evolving, and is quickly integrating itself into mainstream legal systems. Hon. Judge Benjamin Zvenia is currently serving on tribal courts and is recognized as an expert in the field. His Honor is one of the leading advocates for applying and expanding the effects of the Full Faith and Credit granted to the sovereign Indian tribes in the 1980s.

This is the first of a series of seminars to be presented by AHUSOL on various topics of interest to the community at large.
