Faculty
We are currently seeking Adjunct and Full-time Faculty to teach undergraduate and graduate students online in Law, Business Management, Computer Information Systems and ESL courses. Faculty will be responsible for instructing students online and by phone according to program objectives and course syllabi.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop course syllabus and lesson plans to include instructional aids.
- Teach material from approved curriculum in accordance with assigned schedule.
- Assist students through online discussions and by telephone in achieving stated objectives.
- Provide regular, accurate and timely feedback to students relative to their performance.
- Facilitate and maintain an appropriate online learning environment.
- Motivate students to actively participate in all aspects of the educational process, including
but not limited to class discussions, discussion threads, outside assignments, research, enrichment activities, etc. - Maintain accurate student records and report grades in a timely manner.
- Complete professional development and in-service activities in accordance with school standards.
- Advise students on matters related to their enrollment status.
- Participate in department curriculum implementation and development meetings; recommend improvements in curriculum design.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Qualified candidates must possess at a minimum, a relevant Masters, JD or earned Doctoral degree with previous post-secondary experience teaching courses in the relevant fields.
- Minimum of five years professional experience in their chosen field of instruction.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to perform moderate to complex computer functions using MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Explorer, Internet browser, Outlook Exchange, and web search engines
- Demonstrate proper \"Netiquette\"
- Proficiency in online teaching is a plus..
