Officials of American Heritage University announced a new scholarship program for the first set of 100 students to enroll in this academic session. Professor Tony B. Ogiamien, president of AHU, announced this last week at a ceremony to officially transit from an online school to a conventional university. The ribbon cutting event which took place at the new classrooms building in downtown San Bernardino, Ca, was attended by dignitaries from the community including representatives from the mayor’s office.

The main component of the scholarship program consists of a $1000 reduction in the school fees for student. “This is to encourage them to complete their education and also to enable them optimize their other resources reasonably toward their education.”

Ogiamien also said the gesture is to demonstrate to the students that AHU cares about their academic success and would do whatever is necessary to aid the students in their academic pursuit.
