Career & Student Services:
We offer an active placement service, assisting students in finding educationally related career opportunities. Our Career and Student Services Department works hand-in-hand with local industry, business, and government placement offices to help each student gain access to the marketplace, and to assist employers in meeting their employment needs.
A good job applicant is one who has the skills necessary to meet the needs of prospective employers. Our goal is to help students acquire the training necessary for the job market they wish to enter. Graduates who know they are well prepared have the self-confidence they need to present themselves as competent, skilled candidates for the jobs they seek.
We post all current, part-time and full-time employment opportunities on the placement bulletin board located on campus. Specific information for the jobs listed and basic applicable criteria is available in the Career and Student Services Department. In addition, we assist students with resume preparation and interviewing techniques and practices.
